On the move!
How it started: A vision to run Boston 2024 for Dana Farber.
How it’s going: Not quite there yet, so updating visions and building the strength and endurance to ride ~170 miles for the PMC (for Dana-Farber) in August.
And I’ve registered - no turning back now!
While I’ve never done anything close to a ride like this, I’m confident that I have the motivation, strength, and determination to make the journey from Wellesley to Provincetown.
For my birthday, the best gift you can give is a donation to help obliterate cancer so that no one else has to endure what my family, friends, and I experienced. I can now confidently say, all 11 marathons I’ve run pale in comparison to cancer treatments.
AND, I’m grateful, deeply grateful to the incredible people at Dana - Farber, for their care, expertise, and groundbreaking research. For the first time ever, I’m riding for myself as a “living proof” rider. But I’m also riding for my dear friend Fred Todd who’s cancer journey ended his life far too soon, and for my dear friend Stuart who’s courageously navigating treatment now. And for so many others.
Donating is simple, every contribution helps – no amount is too small. Your donation is tax deductible and 100% will go to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. With deep gratitude for your generosity, kindness and incredible support. It means the world to me as I take on this challenge!
